Dr. Dmitry Dmitriev has over 20 years of experience in the Russian pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Raifarm, he headed PharmaNet’s Russian office as a Director of Clinical Research, supervising over 35 staff located in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk.

Prior to that he headed clinical operations at Pfizer Moscow office. During his time at Pfizer he was widely recognized for his managerial prowess, winning the 'Best Team Leader of Pfizer Russia’ award several times.

Dr. Dmitriev has also taught for nine years at the Russian State Medical University, leaving as an Associate Professor of Medicine. In addition, Dr. Dmitriev has extensive experience as a practicing cardiologist – and has deep knowledge of many other therapeutic areas. Dr. Dmitriev has more than 40 publications, 1 monograph, and 5 patents.

He holds his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Russian State Medical University and MBA degree from British Open University.
