Dr. Smirnov has twelve years of experience in the Russian pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Raifarm, he worked in the Russian representative office of Boehringer Ingelheim as Hospital Franchise Manager.

Prior to that, he held diverse sales and marketing positions at Sanofi-Aventis and at Janssen-Cilag and acquired strong experience in the marketing of pharmaceutical products in many therapeutic areas.

He holds an MD from Russian State Medical University.
